Fans can officially start their countdown as the dates for the Australian leg of Guns N' Roses Not In This Lifetime tour were announced on Wednesday morning.
Paul Dainty, president and CEO of music promoter TEG Dainty confirmed the news in a statement, revealing founder Axl Rose and former members, Slash and Duff McKagan who are currently completing the U.S. leg of their tour are set to bring the mammoth stadium performance to Australia in February 2017.
Kicking off in Brisbane on Tuesday 7 February at QSAC Stadium the Not in this Lifetime tour will then travel to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
The tour will mark the first time that founder Axl Rose and former members, Slash and Duff McKagan have played together for Aussie fans since their 1993 Use Your Illusion tour.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public on Friday 26 August.
Die-hard Roses fans may want to clear their schedule as a new billboard in Melbourne's CBD appears to confirm rumours the band will bring their Not In This Lifetime tour to Australia in February 2017.
While nothing has been officially announced yet, a GNR Facebook fan page sent fans into further frenzy on Monday night after posting a leaked teaser of the scheduled Down Under shows.
The page also revealed the supposed concert dates and times featuring the classic line-up of frontman Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan.
"Don't think it can be more "official" than this," the page administrator wrote.
As fans wait for the official nod from promoter Dainty and GNR themselves, it may just serve as good practice given frontman Rose's infamous tardiness to shows.
Still, with these moves, he's probably worth the wait.
