Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have reportedly reached a settlement in their recent domestic violence case, TMZ reports.

The celebrity news site states that Heard dismissed her domestic violence restraining order petition against Depp, and the two have reached an agreement to settle the case. The actors reportedly filed legal documents on Tuesday in which Heard rescinded the restraining order request. Heard initially filed for a restraining order after accusing Depp of assault but, according to TMZ, dismissed the case with prejudice, meaning she will not be able to re-file it.

Amid Heard’s abuse allegations, the couple was also proceeding with divorce. That case has also been settled, TMZ notes, with Depp reportedly giving the actress $7 million to leave it alone, according to sources who spoke to the site.

The settlement comes after Heard appeared at a deposition on Saturday where she was asked about her violence claims against Depp. It also comes after a disturbing video of the couple engaged in a heated altercation emerged online.

Heard and Depp released a joint statement following the news, which was provided to The Huffington Post via email.

“Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love,” the statement reads. “Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains.”

“There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm,” it continues. “Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity.”

Heard initially filed for divorce from Depp in May, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The pair, who met on the set of the film “The Rum Diary,” had been married for 15 months.
