The best type of food coma.

Shut the front door.

In case you missed it have been hiding for the past year, freakshakes took over the food world (see ya later matcha lattes), with hungry folk lining up to experience the coma-inducing behemoth of a beverage.

Freakshakes take the modest milkshake and add every delicious thing you could possibly want: sweet lollies and salty pretzels, creamy peanut butter and crispy waffles, dripping chocolate syrup and Crunchies, EVERYTHING.

If you can constantly afford to buy these decadent shakes, you go Glen Coco, but for the majority of us, slamming one of these on the reg is impossible. That's why we should make them at home.

Yes, epic shakes are possible to make, thanks to these ridiculous milkshake recipes from Decadent Shakes by Matthew, Sarah and Brendan Aouad of the famous Vogue Cafe in Sydney (who are known for their killer shakes).

Imagine a milkshake consisting of Oreos, Snickers, peanut butter, chocolate and vanilla ice cream topped with waffles, pretzels, more Oreos, whipped cream and Reese's pieces. And that's just one shake.

Yep, these are not for the faint of heart.
