Police have arrested a woman over the 2004 deaths of a brother and sister in Deception Bay.

31-year-old Ian Bailey and his 29-year-old sister April were found in their burnt-out home on May 28, 2004.

Police believe the pair were killed before accelerant was placed around their bodies and the house set alight.

April's four-year-old daughter Violet was found unharmed, wandering around the backyard of the Warren Crescent home when emergency services arrived.

Police received three triple zero calls around the time the deaths occurred.

The first is believed to have captured Mr Bailey's screams in the background.

The second, which police believe was made by the daughter, captures an argument in the background, which has proved integral to the investigation.

Using cutting-edge forensic technology, police were able to analyse the voices in the second call along with utilising advances in investigation techniques to examine a weapon that was found at the scene.

In 2006 police offered a $250,000 reward for anyone with information about the murders along with indemnity from prosecution for any accomplice who came forward with information.

On Saturday morning, police arrested a 34-year-old Kallangur woman.

She was taken to Redcliffe Police Station where she was being interviewed by detectives.

No charges have been laid but investigations are ongoing.
