This family said they were getting a car for their granddaughter. So you can imagine Pop Pop’s surprise when he learned that the car — his dream Mercedes — actually belongs to him.

He’s practically speechless.

The grandfather’s sweet reaction was posted to YouTube by his granddaughter, Olivia Cardone Hasson, on September 19.

“What are you talking about?” Pop Pop says, before hopping in to get a feel for his new ride.

Bonus fun fact: The family says that the car’s previous owner was actress Christie Brinkley.
