It was all for a good cause.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is in New York this week. He's been participating in summits on refugees and migrants, ahead of the United Nations general assembly (which he will be addressing Thursday). Turnbull has met with many world leaders, discussing important things.

He also made time to meet with renowned Atlanta rapper Ludacris.

Thanks to cardboard magnate Anthony Pratt.

Yes, this happened.

There's Malcolm and Lucy Turnbull on the left there. Pratt, one of Australia's richest men with his Visy recycling empire, is in the middle -- giving introductions to Ludacris, a popular American hip-hop artist.

Ludacris, born Christopher Brian Bridges, has nine albums to his name. He has also starred in the Fast and Furious movie franchise, appearing in five films.

Pratt said the meeting happened at an event called, "Two strong African women leaders" at his home in New York City. On Ludacris' own Instagram, he said it was an event for his wife's charity Unspoken Angels.

Oh, to have been a fly on the wall for that conversation.
