Making A Murderer's Steven Avery Is Getting Married

The courtship was made more difficult by the fact he's in jail.

Steven Avery, made famous from Netflix's 'Making a Murderer' documentary series, is getting married for the second time.

This time, he's found love with a Lynn Hartman, a legal secretary from Las Vegas and it's believed they've been "dating" for around eight months, but only met face-to-face this month.

"I'm happy, she treats me decent, she loves me, she's kind of spoiling me right now. I just want to be happy and enjoy my life; I think I did enough time," he told Daily Mail.com from jail.

Avery is serving time for the 2005 murder of Teresa Halbach. The case gained worldwide media attention in the 2015 Netflix docu-series.

"He is very much in love and happy with Lynn so we are happy for them," Avery's attorney Kathleen Zellner told People.

Avery was previously married to Lori Dassey and while behind bars he has also been engaged Sandra Greenman.

Avery has allegedly spoken out to those who may be skeptical of the lovebirds through The Stephen Avery Project Facebook page.
