Australians across the country are in mourning today after it was announced Sunnyboy ice blocks will soon cease to exist.
The Daily Drinks Co. that made the tuckshop favourites, announced in a statement that they will be no longer be sold due to a "sustained reduction" in the demand, Kidspot reports.
"No other products are affected by this deletion, and consumers will still be able to purchase all our other popular brands, including Zooper Dooper and Quelch," they said.
For many Australians growing up the ice blocks were a staple at school canteens, so naturally the cancellation has caused public outcry.
In response, some people acknowledged the hard truth that customers only have themselves to blame.
Others have preferred to remember all of the good times they've shared with the pyramid-shaped ice blocks that brought so much sun to their childhood.
In summer all the iceblocks melt fast but the sunnyboy is a rock solid triangle 😭
