South Australians are making the most of the wet conditions ahead of what's expected to be another wild night of wind and rain.

With the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting possible thunderstorms and gusts up to 90km/h overnight, and with road conditions already dodgy, SA residents are taking a few alternative methods of travel.
