People Love This Shirtless Dude Rocking Out To Slayer During Hurricane Matthew

Let’s get one thing out of the way right now, people: Standing in the middle of a hurricane shirtless, waving an American flag, whipping your hair around and blasting Slayer is not a good idea.

That said, this video, which should be played with the sound on, is pretty awesome.

“Had a request for some hair action during the ‘cane. I granted it,” wrote Florida man Lane Pittman, who posted the video on Facebook Friday, tagging his location as “near Jacksonville.” So far that epic hair action has been shared more than 300,000 times on Facebook alone.

And the people love him.

This isn’t Pittman’s first tango with internet fame. “Jacksonville man shreds National Anthem so hard, cops are forced to arrest him,” read a 2015 Orlando Weekly headline referring to the longhaired legend. His arrest caused so much outrage that the police department ended up releasing a multi-paragraph statement in which they noted Pittman was a “great dude” and wished him good luck with “his entertainment career.”

Rock on, man. And stay safe.
