'Power Rangers' Reboot Drops First Extended Trailer

'Which Power Ranger are you?'

Along with DunkARoos and Space Jam tazos -- the 90s gave us Power Rangers -- and today, the world got its first taste of the official trailer.

The reboot, set in current times follow the lives of five teens from the made up town, Angel Grove, who rise up to extraordinary heights when they learn the world is on the verge of being obliterated by aliens.

The teaser reveals Naomi Scott (who plays the pink ranger) being bullied at school, and later chopping off her hair before figuring out she's destined for much bigger things -- bigger things like you know, SAVING THE PLANET.

But before she does, she must band together with her fellow misfits to become the POWER RANGERS.

Here's a throwback to get you in the mood.

If you hadn't noticed the reboot has ditched the spandex style armor, instead opting for sturdier and way more action-heroesque costumes.

As we've seen with other classic kids shows (Transformers, X-Men) we get the feeling the big screen adaptation will be far more grittier and darker than the original series.

Though we're still holding out they stick to the OG tagline -- "Go go Power Rangers!"

POWER RANGERS releases in Australian cinemas on March 23, 2017.
