A violent altercation has taken place outside the home of Aussie supermodel Miranda Kerr, with reports an intruder has been shot "multiple times" and a security guard stabbed.
According to TMZ, Kerr's security guard confronted the intruder at the Malbu residence after he jumped the fence on Friday morning U.S. time.
"The intruder stabbed the guard in the eye, and the guard responded by shooting the intruder multiple times. We know 1 shot struck the intruder's head."
TMZ reports that the intruder and the security guard have been airlifted to hospital and with non-life threatening injuries.
"We're told a security guard at the house confronted an intruder who had just hopped the fence," TMZ reports.

Kerr was not home at the time, the entertainment news outlet reports.
LA Sheriffs Department James Braden confirmed deputies were called to the ranch-style residence just before midday on Friday, according to The Guardian.
A neighbour told TV network KTLA it was unusual for something so brutal to happen in the area.
"It's kind of a crazy thing to happen out here in Malibu," local Craig Moore's quoted as saying.
"I guess it happens everywhere but we just don't ever have it happen in our neighborhood."
Kerr purchased the property in 2014 after splitting from ex-husband Orlando Bloom. Earlier this year the Sydney-born supermodel spent $16 million on another residence she shares with fiance Evan Spiegel, in Brentwood.
