Chrissy Teigen’s Twitter account might be set to private now, but that doesn’t mean she’s stopped engaging with those who think it’s their prerogative to raise baby Luna through social media. Hint: It’s not.
In what we like to call Teigen vs. Mom-Shamers Part CCXXXIV, the “Lip Sync Battle” host readily clapped back at a Twitter user who determined that she holds Luna incorrectly based on one paparazzi photo.
“This is not how a baby is held!!!!” the follower wrote to Teigen alongside a recent photo of the famous family in New York.
“Really because that’s how I’m fucking holding her,” Teigen wrote back, explaining why it’s often unfair to make an assumption from one image.
“Photos are literally split-seconds moments in time that evolve. I despise mommy shamers. I am a proud shamer of mommy shamers,” she continued in another tweet.

The follower continued the discussion by writing, “I don’t give a crap where that baby popped out from! Do not hold a baby like a handbag!”
And Chrissy ― God love her ― came back with this gem: “Well you hold your handbag like a fucking idiot then.”
A public argument against a woman with almost 3 million Twitter followers was evidently too exciting to quit, because the mom-shamer kept tweeting.
Teigen responded: “Please, do shut up.”
