Tributes and fundraising continue to flow for the victims of the Dreamworld disaster.

An online campaign raising funds for the victims of the Dreamworld disaster that killed 4 people has topped more than $45,000.

Kate Goodchild, Luke Dorsett, Roozbeh Araghi, and Cindy Low died when their raft flipped on the Thunder River Rapids ride about 2.20pm on Tuesday.

Police launched a major investigation into how the park-goers lost their lives at the ride on the Gold Coast that has left family and friends shattered.

In the wake of the deadly incident there have been allegations of shoddy upkeep at the theme park, and criticisms of owner Ardent Leisure's management of the disaster.

Following the shocking event a fundraising effort was established for the family of Kate Goodchild, which has now raised $45,265. It aims to contribute $50,000 to assist the victims.

"Kate and Luke will be sorely missed by family and friends as well as the entire Canberra community and will be forever in our hearts," the page states. "Please donate or assist wherever possible."

Campaign organiser Sandra Brookfield said the victims needed ongoing support.

"I thought the best thing I could do is set up something so they can have access to counselling, nannies, to day care, to help pay mortages," Brookfield told Macquarie Radio on Saturday.
