Jerry Seinfeld is bringing his stand-up comedy show to Australia next year.

Hello, Jerry.

The one and only Jerry Seinfeld will bring his stand-up tour to Australian shores in 2017 -- and it's about time. It's been nearly 20 years since the puffy shirt-wearing comedy master performed in Australia, when he did shows in Melbourne and Sydney in 1998.

And, yada yada yada, he's coming back.

"Australia may be far in miles but I feel very close to the people because of our mutual comedy connection. I couldn't be more excited about seeing everyone there again," Seinfeld said in a press release.

Not in the mood for details? Well you GET IN THE MOOD. Seinfeld's Australian tour opens in Perth on Friday August 4, and moves on to Adelaide on Saturday August 5, Melbourne on Sunday August 6 and Brisbane on Wednesday August 9 before winding up in Sydney on Friday August 11.

Seinfeld is of course most known for his eponymous TV series, which was produced from 1989 to 1998. Currently, the comedian has created a hilarious web series called Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (you can probably guess what it's about).

You can get your hands on tickets for the 2017 Australian tour from 10am on November 14 via Ticketek. Tour dates and locations below:

PERTH - Friday 4 August – Perth Arena

ADELAIDE - Saturday 5 August – Adelaide Entertainment Centre

MELBOURNE - Sunday 6 August – Melbourne Hisense Arena

BRISBANE - Wednesday 9 August – Brisbane Entertainment Centre

SYDNEY - Friday 11 August – ICC Sydney Theatre

Just make sure you hold the reservation.

And if you miss out, well....
