Uber Will Soon Sync With UberEATS So You Can Send Food To Your Destination

Best update ever.

Uber users will soon be able to order food on UberEATS en route. That's right, your burrito will arrive at your door when you do.

This stroke of genius is the update we never knew we needed (but soon we won't be able to live without it). It's part of a bundle of new features being rolled out that will change the way we use the ride-share app.

Uber has announced that you'll be able to use another user as your destination, so your driver will go straight to your mate's location. Just sync up your contacts with the app, search their name and wait until they share their location. No more head-scratching at 3am trying to figure out addresses, yay!

Another big change to watch out for is that you'll be asked upfront, 'Where to?' After punching in your destination, you'll get a fare estimate so you won't get a nasty shock by accepting surge prices. You'll also be able to sync up your calendar to get to your regular appointments more easily without opening another app to find the address.

As well as ordering off UberEATS, the app will soon let you listen to music via Pandora, check eat-out option on Yelp or scroll through Foursquare to find your way around. The convenient new features are rolling out globally over the next few weeks.
