Sometimes the voice of reason in a crazy world comes from the most unlikely places, in this case, the satirical Twitter account Aus Gov Just Googled.

With afternoon reports of major betting agencies leaning towards a Donald Trump win in the 2016 U.S. Election, and global markets tanking, the cheeky Twitter account is imagining the flurried Google searches being churned out of Parliament House.

And it's spot on.

The account is fake, but the fear is real.
