It’s Election Day in America, and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump still thinks his whole campaign might have been a big waste of his time and money.

Trump said on “Fox and Friends” Tuesday morning that a loss for him would render his campaign “a waste.”

“If I don’t win, I will consider it a waste of time, energy and money,” Trump said.

His son, Donald Trump Jr. told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” he hoped his father’s “movement” continues even if the GOP hopeful disappears from politics after the results of Tuesday’s election are confirmed.

“[If he doesn’t win,] we go back largely to doing what we’re doing,” Trump Jr. said. “But I think hopefully he was able to create enough of a movement that forces people in the political elite, people in that political class to truly represent their people.”

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims ― 1.6 billion members of an entire religion ― from entering the U.S.
