CANBERRA -- Finding the results of the United States presidential election a little nerve-wracking?

So are we. And it appears so is Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

Famed for his use of multiple modes of technology, Turnbull has taken a moment or two in Question Time in parliament Wednesday to view the American red and blue states fall into place.

The Prime Minister also took advice from his Foreign Minister Julie Bishop as the results began to show Donald Trump pulling ahead of Hillary Clinton.

Turnbull was not the only Australian politician a little distracted by the vote over in the United States.

Conservative Government backbencher George Christensen proudly carried a smile and a Donald Trump book as he departed Question Time.
