Ryan Reynolds has opened up about when he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Blake Lively, hinting that he realised she was 'the one' on one of their first dates.
In a new interview with GQ Magazine, Reynolds, who has been married to Lively for two years, said he knew he was smitten with the 29-year-old after a date in the New York's Tribeca area.
"Probably after the sex," Reynolds quipped to the magazine "No, we were hanging out at this little restaurant in Tribeca that's open really late, and this song came on and I was just like, 'Want to dance?'
"No one was in there, so it was just totally empty. And it was just one of those moments where halfway through the dance, it was like, 'Oh, I think I just crossed a line.' And then I walked her home. And, uh, you know, I don't really need to go into what happened after that."
In the interview, Reynolds also got real about being a dad. Lively gave birth to the pair's second child earlier this year and the couple are already parents to daughter James, who was born in December 2014.
"I'm on the precipice of having a real American family. I mean, I always imagined that would happen, and then it happened. Every idiotic Hallmark-card cliché is true," the 'Deadpool' star said.
He also revealed his battle with anxiety after wrapping on the hugely successful superhero movie, which grossed a colossal $780 million worldwide.
"I had a little bit of a nervous breakdown," Reynolds told GQ. "I literally had the shakes. I went to go see a doctor because I felt like I was suffering from a neurological problem or something. And every doctor I saw said, 'You have anxiety'."
The interview follows a more light-hearted effort from Reynolds who recently sat down with his "twin brother" Gordon Reynolds after being named 1 of GQ's Men of the Year.
