Less than two months after four people died on Dreamworld's Thunder River Rapids Ride, the park is set to reopen.
Dreamworld's owner Ardent Leisure confirmed in a statement on Wednesday that the park will reopen following the "successful completion of the mechanical and operational safety review".
"All of Whitewater World's slides, pools and cabanas will be open as will several of Dreamworld's rides and attractions," the statement said.
"Dreamworld's other rides will progressively open as they are signed off as part of the safety review process."
The park has been shut since October 25 after Kate Goodchild, Cindy Low, Luke Dorsett and Roozi Araghi died when the Thunder River Rapids Ride malfunctioned.
Dreamworld has announced they will reopen with a 'Open Hearts – Open Doors' Charity Weekend that will help to raise funds for those who were affected in the incident.
"Over this charity weekend, Dreamworld will donate $25 for every guest and passholder through the door to the Australian Red Cross," Dreamworld said on their website.
"These funds will be distributed to the families and those most affected by the tragedy through the GIVIT Appeal Independent Distribution Committee."
Dreamworld previously said a "systematic and methodical park-wide safety review of every mechanical ride in the park" would be involved in the process to reopen.
"The process of reviewing and checking every Dreamworld ride will be methodical. We will not be rushed," Dreamworld CEO Craig Davidson told the media in November.
"We are close to finalising a timeline for this review. This timeline will dictate when the park will reopen."
