There's nothing like a little Christmas-related giggle.

This silly season, Twitter users have taken the lyrics to Wham!'s 'Last Christmas' and given them a whole new (and absolutely hilarious) meaning.

The popular hit was first released in 1984 and more than 20 years later, the song still gets absolutely thrashed on the radio, in shopping centres and at office Christmas parties.

People are now hilariously manipulating the lyrics to the hit, poking fun and applying it to their owns lives -- even using it to throw some cheeky shade at modern dating.

"Last Christmas I gave you my heart but the very next day, you texted back 'k'," one user tweeted.
