White House staffers decided to pull a prank on their boss, and it's giving some people the chills.

For the past three weeks, there have been snowmen on display in the Rose Garden, according to White House photographer Pete Souza.

Souza says staff have joked about moving the snowmen a few feet closer to the Oval Office to see if anyone would notice.

"But finally this morning before the President came to the office, some helpful staff — I won't say who — moved all the snowmen so each one was peeking through a different window into the Oval," Souza wrote on Instagram.

President Barack Obama was creeped out by the snowmen's icy stares even before his staff pulled this prank.

“There’s a whole kind of Chucky element to them,” Obama told People Magazine in November.

Michelle Obama joked, "We should start moving them in. We should put one in the bedroom, right by his bed.”

Obama isn't the only one giving the snowmen a frosty reception.

Luckily, POTUS thought the practical joke was pretty funny.

Another snowman from yesterday. Yes he enjoyed the prank. See previous post for the backstory.
