The son of former Adelaide Crows coach Phil Walsh will be indefinitely detained in a secure mental facility over the killing of his father.
Cy Walsh, 28, was found not guilty by reason of mental incompetence in September over last year's stabbing death of Phil Walsh.
On Tuesday, Supreme Court Justice Anne Bampton ruled that Cy Walsh be detained in a psychiatric facility until further order.

Phil Walsh, 55, was head coach of the Adelaide Football Club when he died.
Cy Walsh pleaded not guilty at his trial, by reason of mental incompetence.
The court had previously accepted the opinions of forensic psychologists the younger Walsh suffered from undiagnosed and untreated schizophrenia when he stabbed his father 20 times.
