Billie Lourd Breaks Silence On The Death Of Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds

Billie Lourd, the daughter of Carrie Fisher, has spoken out for the first time since the tragic death of her mother, and grandmother Debbie Reynolds.

The 24-year-old actress shared an old photo on Instagram, and said the love and support she has received means the world to her.

"Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist," Lourd wrote.

"There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me."

Fisher who rose to fame as Princess Leia in Star Wars, died after a short hospitalisation following a heart attack on a flight from Los Angeles to London, she was 60 years old.

Just one day after the death of her daughter, Hollywood legend Debbie Reynolds suffered a stroke while making funeral plans for Fisher. The 84-year-old died later that day.

Reynolds son, Todd Fisher, told TMZ that "I miss her so much, I want to be with Carrie" were his mother's last words.
