Shannon Noll Charged With Assault Outside Strip Club

Shannon 'Nollsy' Noll has been charged with two counts of assault outside the Crazy Horse strip club in Adelaide at around 2am Sunday morning.

The 41-year-old singer was arrested following an incident on Hindley Street and taken into custody, according to South Australian Police.

A witness told 9News he punched a security guard after being kicked out of the venue.

"He got really aggressive and kept saying 'I'm Shannon Noll let me back in to the Crazy Horse'," the witness told 9NEWS.

Noll is best known for being the 2003 Australian Idol runner-up and his platinum selling debut single 'What About Me'. He will face Adelaide Magistrates Court on February 24.
