In what capacity will the Fab Five be back?

Remember Queer Eye for the Straight Guy? Well it's time to rejoice because the oh so fabulous show about sophisticated gay men making over straight guys is coming back.

Netflix has announced that there is going to be a revival of the reality television show, eight glorious episodes to be exact. We never thought we'd see the day.

The real question on everyone's lips: is Carson coming back? He damn well better be.

According to Entertainment Weekly the show will aim to 'Make America Fabulous Again'. Netflix is allegedly casting a new Fab Five but the original cast may still be involved.

"In a time when America stands divided and the future seems uncertain, a team of five brave men will try to bring us closer together with laughter, heart, and just the right amount of moisturiser," a statement from the show's producers reads.

In case you were living under a rock in the noughties, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was a popular show that ran from 2003 to 2007.

Basically a team of five queer men labelled the 'Fab Five' made over straight men who had lost their mojo. Each man was an expert in their field of fabulousness.

There was a the 'Food and Wine Connoisseur', 'Grooming Guru', 'Design Doctor', 'Fashion Savant' and 'Culture Vulture'. Because there's not just one aspect to a makeover, darling.

There's not many other details about this serious blast from the past but Entertainment Weekly has said it will be moving from New York to the "red states".

The Fashion Savant Carson Kressley has even coyly commented on the reboot in an interview on What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

The show plays heavily on stereotypes so it will be interesting to see how it will works in 2017's world but if one thing is for certain, lots of people will be tuning into see.

We'll just leave the opening credits here. Because well, they're totally fabulous.
