By now, everyone should be familiar with the name Ray Johnstone the fisherman.

Ray's the bloke who broke our hearts in an ad posted to Gumtree looking for a fishing buddy.
His calls for a companion went viral last week after his advertisement detailed the sad passing away of his former fishing mate and then two brothers from Brisbane decided to take him on an all-expenses-paid trip just to make his day.
Mati Batsinilas and his brother Peter offered to fly Johnstone from South Australia to Brisbane, pick him up at the airport and take him on the "experience of his life".
Now, the pictures are in and it looks like that promise has come true. Johnstone's been having a cracker of a time and managed to snag an impressive fish to match.
As it turned out, Johnstone got tonnes of responses to his ad from people offering to take him out for a fishing trip, including one that featured a charter boat in Marion Bay and a sponsorship deal with outdoor store BCF who loaded him up with updated fishing gear.
Judging by some of the snaps from the trip with the Batsinilas brothers, Johnstone's going to have an endless supply of fishing buddies to accompany him to wet a line for some time to come.
