Laverne Cox Finally Met Beyoncé And Reacted Like Any Human Would, Really

Talk about a long time coming! Actress and transgender activist Laverne Cox finally met her idol, Beyoncé.

Cox has been pretty upfront about her stanning for Queen B over the years, even paying tribute to the artist by recreating her iconic “Single Ladies” look in Cosmopolitan. (She also lost her mind when Beyoncé sent her a holiday card and sweatshirt in 2014.) At the 2017 Grammy’s on Sunday, the pair finally met face to face and Cox was ecstatic.

Cox introduced Lady Gaga and Metallica at the Grammy’s Sunday night, using her time on stage to draw attention to the upcoming transgender rights SCOTUS case surrounding Gavin Grimm.
