This Bloke Wakeboarded Through Rain Puddles In WA, Beer In Hand

Because 'Straya.

If a bloke wakeboarding through rain puddles while drinking a can of beer isn't the most Aussie thing you've seen this year, we don't know what is.

Clearly not one to let a bit of rain bother him, Lachy French decided to make the most of the summer deluge that rocked Western Australia and get a bit of wakeboarding in.

In the clip French can be seen getting pulled along by a Quad Bike as he takes a swig from a cheeky gold can in WA's Kimberley region. It's not the first time he's done it either.

"We do these sort of things all the time. Love the adventure and thrill seeking side of things. Me and two work mates knocked off and decided to go up the Gibb for some fun," Lachy French told The Huffington Post Australia.

"The idea came about when we went up there just for a swim and thought it would be a good idea to tow a table behind the car. One week later that table turned into a wake board and a quad!" he said.

How's that for some innovative thinking.

Since he was in Western Australia, we couldn't help but ask why he was drinking Queensland's XXXX Gold and not WA's famously unique Emu Export.

"I am an Export drinker but XXXX Gold is all we had that day as the two other boys drink it!" he said like a true West Australian.
