Pauline Hanson Just Held A Flying Facebook Live Piloted By Her Chief-Of-Staff

Immigration, hay runs and free beer.

Pauline Hanson has taken to the skies for a bizarre Facebook Live alongside her chief-of-staff/pilot James Ashby to check in with her followers on immigration, medical cannabis and foreign investment.

Hanson explained on YouTube that she had a spare moment while taking off so she decided to livestream. It's an odd time to "have a spare moment" -- but there you go.

In the clip she explains that her and Ashby are travelling to Griffith because they're headed out with the truckies tomorrow for her third The Burrumbuttock Hay Run.

"I talk about immigration, medical cannabis, foreign investment, housing and The Burrumbuttock Hay Runners!" she said.

"We can not keep increasing the population, we have the highest immigration levels of any western country in the world and if we keep this up we will not be able to sustain our way of life, our standard of living," she says, reaffirming her incendiary anti-immigration message.

And she's never been one to stray from her message.

There's a curious moment where Ashby chimes in telling her there about to run out of cell reception and she might want to wrap it up. She then tells people about a' politics in the pub' they're having in Longreach and Hanson is shouting the first 100 beers. You honestly couldn't dream this stuff up.

As weird as it is, it certainly makes for an interesting clip. It almost distracts from her key messages -- you know, that we're in being "swamped by Muslims", her vow to ban the burqa in Queensland, supporting Vladimir Putin -- but not quite.
