Lorde is set to make an appearance on the beloved US comedy show Saturday Night Live on March 11.
SNL announced on Twitter that the singer-songwriter will be performing on the same night as Scarlett Johansson will host for her fifth time.
Lorde fans are keen for new music from the New Zealander, who hasn't released an album since her debut LP 'Pure Heroine' in 2013. And the wait could nearly be over.
Her SNL appearance along with upcoming festival performances at Coachella and Governer's Ball in the US and a new 'lob' hairdo all point towards a new album being released very soon.
She's also been teasing fans on Instagram, showing that it takes a stack of late nights and scribbled notebooks to make stellar music.
