Mahershala Ali doesn't do things in halves: not only did the 'Moonlight' star become a father just four days ago, but within hours of earning himself an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, he's also landed an international modelling gig with Calvin Klein.

Ali, together with his fellow co-stars; Trevante Rhodes, Ashton Sanders and Alex Hibbert front the campaign titled the 'Moonlight Project' which showcases the brand's Spring 2017 collection.

Shot by photographer Willy Vanderperre, it's a mix of portraits and fashion images, with each shot "standing as a character study in its own right."

'Moonlight', directed by Barry Jenkins, was awarded Best Picture on Monday and tells the story of a young black man as he navigates his way through a rough Miami neighbourhood and struggles to find his place in the world.

It makes a nice change from previous campaigns which featured the likes of Kendall Jenner and Justin Bieber.

Here's a sneak peek at the campaign images which cast a rather different light on these Hollywood faces. You're welcome.
