The things we try to stick on nails can get out of hand. From actual succulents to edible chocolate icing, avant-garde beauty mavens have tried it all.
Or so we thought.
Cue the newest 'out there' mani on the block: the wire manicure. Beautician Eun Kyung Park, founder of Unistellar salon in Korea has pioneered the new look, with beauty critics at Marie Claire hailing the trend as the "manicure of the future".
The nail artist delicately bends thin wire to form a design. It is then applied to the nail with gel polish, creating a 3D effect.
While it might look cool, we have a few questions: what happens when spikey wire ends start lifting off? And can you actually hold or do anything with the wires protruding out the end of your nails?
