Seeing Adele In Sydney This Weekend? Here's What You Need To Know

All I ask ... is that you take a packed lunch.

Adele is quite literally the biggest show in the world right now.

This weekend, she's hitting Sydney and if rumour has it right, she's set to bring to ANZ Stadium the biggest event the venue has seen since the Olympic Games. Yep, that was a million 17 years ago.

A wave of 95,000 adoring fans are expected to stream into the stadium over Friday and Saturday night, prompting a fittingly fabulous response from those who just want to get us all there in one piece.

If you you haven't made your mind up yet, event organisers are sending us a crystal clear message: don't jump into that car of yours. Just don't do it to yourself.

Here's what to do instead.

WHERE?

Adele Live 2017 is happening at ANZ Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park.

WHEN?

Expect to see the songstress hit the stage around 7:30pm on Friday March 10 and Saturday March 11. Gates will be open at 5:30pm. There's no support act so don't be late.

HOW?

Event organisers have offered us a few handy tips.

1. Arrive early. We're looking for hello's inside the stadium, people, and not out. With heavy traffic expected approaching Sydney Olympic Park, allow plenty of travel time to get there.

2. Do not drive -- unless you're proactive and have pre-booked a parking spot beforehand.

If you're one of the proactive ones, avoid congestion by aiming for these alternate routes.

3. Take public transport. All tickets to Adele Live 2017 include return travel on public transport. Yes, you can get away with your confirmation email to claim it, and yes, you'll need it on your way home, too.
