Just a whole bunch of nope.
As intimidating as they look, the huntsman spider is quite harmless (to humans).

A pest controller has captured the moment he came across a huge huntsman spider and her hundreds of babies during a termite inspection.

Noel Parminter was carrying out the inspection at a home in Queensland, politely describing the encounter in his client's roof as an 'interesting find'.

Remarkably, Parminter couldn't even be heard making the smallest of squeals when he found the nest, actually choosing (of his own free will mind you), to get closer to the spider babies.

"I was able to get in close and blew them a kiss," he said in a post on Facebook.

Despite their intimidating appearance, huntsman spiders are not considered to be dangerous and are reluctant to bite. They're more likely to run away when approached but, on the rare occasion that they do bite, their venom isn't considered dangerous for humans.

In homes, they're actually an ally, maintaining their function as a natural pest controller.

So the next time you see one lurking about, just count yourself lucky that you're not a lizard or mouse.
