A third person has been charged with manslaughter over the death of a young boy in Sydney's south in 2015.

NSW Police have confirmed a 64-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday in connection to the incident in 2015 in a statement released on Wednesday.

Police also allege a 56-year-old father and 41-year-old mother attended a self-healing conference at a facility on Park Road, Hurstville between April 22 and April 28, 2015, before paramedics were called to a nearby hotel on the night of April 28 around 10pm, following reports their six-year-old son had been found in an unconscious state.

NSW Ambulance paramedics performed CPR on the boy, however he was unable to be revived and pronounced dead at the scene. Both parents were arrested and charged with manslaughter on March 15 2017 and granted conditional bail, to reappear in court in May 2017.

The woman arrested on Tuesday was taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with manslaughter and was granted strict conditional bail in the Blacktown Local Court, to also reappear before a judge in May 2017.
