Big Scary's Cover Of Nirvana Divides 'Like A Version' Fans

Smells like tweet spirit.

Aussie duo Big Scary covered the classic of classics with Nirvana's "Come As You Are" for triple j's Like a Version, and they managed to divide listeners.

The Melbourne musos were, surprisingly, the first-ever to cover Nirvana in Like A Version history. After calling it his "favourite of the year" the show's host Liam Stapleton told the band, "Two artists have pitched a Nirvana track before and then had to pull out due to sickness or something going wrong in the band before it happened".

And while Stapleton assured the band it had successfully broken the "Nirvana Curse", fans were divided on the cover.

Holy smokes @bigscarymusic that #LikeAVersion was divine! @triplej

Big Scary are touring nationally in June before heading to Splendour in the Grass the following month.
