A Pop Up Los Pollos Hermanos Is Heading Down Under

Taste the family!

Attention 'Breaking Bad' fans: for two days, Sydney fried chicken restaurant Thirsty Bird will be remade into a pop-up Los Pollos Hermanos. Yep, soon you'll be able to get a taste of the 'Breaking Bad' universe that doesn't involve... you know... methamphetamines.

The pop-up celebrates the third season of the 'Breaking Bad' prequel 'Better Call Saul', which streams on Stan. Not only is the streaming service serving up some chicken, but will give fans the opportunity to meet Giancarlo Esposito, Gus Fring himself.

Fans of 'Better Call Saul' were anxiously awaiting the return of Fring, but the show weren't confirming anything until a few eagle-eyed viewers noticed something with the episode titles of the second season. Rearranging the order of the episodes revealed the anagram 'Frings Back'.

Then in January, to confirm the rumours, the show released a fake commercial for Los Pollos Hermanos starring none other than the prince of darkness himself, Gus Fring. The show's star, Bob Odenkirk, alluded to many other favourites coming back to the show in the third season.

Stan's Los Pollos Hermanos will run from Tuesday, April 11 to Wednesday, April 12.
