At least 13 are dead after an explosion inside a church in Egypt, according to state media.
The blasts reportedly targeted the St George Coptic Church in the city of Tanta, north of Cairo. Local Egyptian media global news sources are currently reporting at least 40 people had been injured in the explosion.
The cause of the blast is currently unknown, with no immediate claim of responsibility.
Egypt's Christian minority have been targeted by Islamist militants in the past, including in December 2016 when 25 people were killed by a bomb at a Coptic cathedral in Cairo during a service.
