This Video Game Lets You Play As A Coffee Cup Or A Banana Floating In Space

Ever wanted to wander around space as a 'Wet Floor' sign?

In space, no one can hear you scream. Especially if you're a banana being shot out of an air-lock.

Bethesda's latest game, "Prey", sees players waking up in the year 2032 on a space station jam-packed with hostile aliens looking to rip your face off. While that sounds like the worst day ever, there's still hope as you travel through the station, creating weapons and gaining abilities to protect your face.

One of those abilities, "mimic matter", lets players pick random objects and travel around levels in the form of pretty much any object around. Toilet paper, a "caution: wet floor" sign, it's all fair game as you camouflage yourself

A video released by Bethesda showed off a few of the mimic options including an apple, a kettle and a pizza box.

When you level up in the game you can apparently mimic more useful objects like a security turret, but who cares about that when you can fight aliens as a bag of space popcorn?

"Prey" comes out May 5 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. And it looks bananas.
