Chris Evans Slams Joe Walsh For Ripping Jimmy Kimmel's Health Care Plea

Captain America Stands Up For Jimmy Kimmel After Health Care Sledge

Time and time again, Chris Evans seems to prove he’s a real-life superhero.

Well, Captain America is back at it, currently taking on former Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) for his insensitive tweet about Jimmy Kimmel’s plea for better health care access.

Kimmel made his case for health care on Monday night, tearfully revealing his newborn son, William, was born with a heart disease that required emergency surgery.

“No parent should ever have to decide if they can afford to save their child’s life,” Kimmel said. “It just shouldn’t happen. Not here.”

Walsh wasn’t very moved.

Walsh took a beating on Twitter for the comment, and now Evans is here to finish the job.

The Cap noted that it’s “fair” to have opposing views when it comes to health care, but added, “Our humanity should guide us when, where and how to engage.”

He ended his tweet, “This is beyond misplaced, Joe.”

The Captain has spoken.

If you’re keeping score, so far we’ve seen Evans take on a former KKK leader, President Donald Trump, and now a former congressman. Getting tired yet, dude?
