The MTV Movie and TV awards were a celebration of mergers this year, combining TV and Movie nominees in the same categories, as well as no longer having gendered categories for awards.
The night wasn't without theatrics with "Pitch Perfect" star Adam DeVine opening the show with a "Beauty and the Beast" inspired number and quite literally setting the stage on fire. No seriously, it was on fire.
