Man In Hospital After Stabbing Attack In Engadine

The victim remains in a stable condition after suffering stab wounds.

Police are continuing investigations following an attack in Sydney's south.

An investigation is underway following the stabbing of a man in Engadine in Sydney's south overnight.

A 23-year-old man was allegedly confronted by three men and two women on Achilles Road around 11:40pm.

The victim suffered stab wounds to his upper leg and back during a fight between the two parties that was later broken up by a witness.

Emergency services attended the scene, transporting the man to Sutherland Shire Hospital where he remains in a stable condition. The identity of the victim is yet to be released.

It is believed four of the alleged attackers, two men and two women, fled the scene in a Mazda 3 and Suburu Liberty.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
