A word that strikes fear in every high schooler has to be "chaperone". No one wants to bring one to their formals, or the social circus that is American Prom. Unless of course that chaperone just happens to be three-time Grammy Award winner Aubrey Drake Graham.
Posting to Instagram, Drake apparently rocked up in Memphis to escort his cousin and her date to the Fairley High School prom on the weekend.
TMZ reported that Drizzy not only accompanied his cousin Jalaah and her date to the prom, but he apparently ordered a Rolls Royce to drive the trio to prom, paid for their hellishly slick matching outfits and hung out for a while at the prom. It doesn't look like he entirely stole the spotlight by doing an impromptu performance though.
This isn't the first time Drake has shown how much he loves his cousin, last year celebrating her win as Homecoming Queen with the cutest caption. "I love my cousin more than anything in the world," he wrote, "Homecoming Queen everything fleeky af 😂 you a star girl enjoy it love you."
We can't even finagle a date, let alone a celebrity chaperone. What a night.
