One could only guess that when Geoffrey Walker stumbled upon Instagram he, like many others of his generation, thought it would be the ideal platform to show off the things that mean the most to him -- his wife of 65 years, Pauline, as well as his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The proud husband and grandfather's account is the perfect mix of candid family shots, plenty of videos of his life-long love Pauline and the occasional inspirational quote. It's as if past and present have collided together and this is the result -- one of the world's most popular social media sites being used to document the pure long-time love of an elderly couple.
And thanks to a tweet from one of his followers, his account has gone viral, attracting 15,000 followers to get a taste of his daily, unfiltered and nice, life.
The once inconspicuous Instagram account has so far attracted over 15,000 followers thanks to a single tweet from one of his followers.
On Monday, Lauren Skell from Chichester, in southeast England posted a handful of photos Walker had posted of Pauline.
"This old man I know always posts instas of his wife and they're so sweet bless him," Skell said in a tweet.
