McDonald's Billboard Makes Stoner Joke, But Corporate Isn't Laughing

Well, we can all guess where the McDonald’s on Exit 451 stands when it comes to the marijuana debate. This franchise put up a new billboard on the New Mexico-Colorado border advertising its green-chile breakfast burritos.

It reads: “Usually, when you roll something this good, it’s illegal!”

The location of the billboard is key, being that weed is legal in Colorado and not in New Mexico.

The internet enjoyed this stoner joke, but corporate did not find it so funny. When reached out to McDonald’s for a comment, a representative told HuffPost: “This local franchise billboard does not meet our standards and is being taken down.”

Not all good things were meant to last.
