Traffic Horror: Man Killed By Bus In Sydney

A man in his 20s has been hit and killed by a bus in central Sydney.

The victim, believed to be aged in his 20s, died at the scene early Saturday morning after being hit by the bus on Bathurst Street in the city's CBD.

Traffic delays were being experienced in the areas near Bathurst and Elizabeth streets, Fairfax Media reports.

Channel Nine reports that the bus involved has been cleared away and that investigations are in their early stages.

Witnesses told Nine that the victim may have been a passenger who stepped out of a car and was then struck by the bus.
