WATCH: Dark Mofo In All Its Confronting And Mysterious Glory

This has to be Australia's best festival.

During the Ogoh-Ogoh procession from Parliament Lawn to Dark Park in Hobart, Tasmania, the vibe on the street is pumping.

Families, locals and travellers alike are consumed by swelling music, confronting costumes and icy winter temperatures as they march down the streets.

They're chanting, dancing and banging drums.

This procession is the final act of Dark Mofo and follows two weeks of winter feasting, art installations, performances and music at what is becoming Australia's most loved modern arts festival, in the southern most capital city.

Dark Mofo is an annual festival in Hobart Tasmania from June 8-21st. You can find out more over here.
