Larissa Waters Breastfeeds While Moving Senate Motion In Another First

The Greens Senator fed her child while moving a motion.

CANBERRA -- Greens senator Larissa Waters has done some serious and nutritious senate multi-tasking on Thursday.

There was no putting off the needs of her baby daughter Alia when the time came for the Queenslander to rise and attempt to move a motion on black lung disease.

With her trusty spit rag over her shoulder, Waters continued breastfeeding standing as she moved the motion, much to the delight of her colleagues.

The Greens Senator made world headlines on budget day in May as she became the first federal female politician to breastfeed in parliament.
